thanks for pointing that out. Science “only” generates knowledge. But how does this knowledge has an impact on our way to look at the world and how we interact with it? Just through interpretation. You could go that far that this act of interpretation is the thing called religion. That this was often abused or failed in other ways is another story. As you pointed out: how many times science failed? And lead to abuse of the knowledge (thinking about A-bombs) – but no one would blame science for that. :)
